Scorpions are closely related to spiders, ticks and mites. They are nocturnal and feed on insects. Scorpions can enter homes through wall voids and take shelter in moist areas in attics and crawl spaces. Scorpions can sting,which resembles a bee sting.
Varies in shade from yellowish brown to tan.
